Skoda Kushaq Facelift Launched in India at Rs 10.69 Lakh

Skoda Auto India has launched the updated Skoda Kushaq facelift, with prices starting at Rs 10.69 lakh and going up to Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This update brings small but noticeable design changes, more features, and a new automatic gearbox option to keep the SUV competitive.

On the outside, the Kushaq now gets a refreshed front design with slimmer LED headlights and a revised grille that features a connected lighting element. The bumper has been reshaped for a sharper look. The Monte Carlo variant continues with its sporty appeal, featuring blacked-out styling and unique details. The side profile remains mostly unchanged, apart from new alloy wheel designs. At the rear, the SUV now gets a full-width LED light bar with illuminated Skoda lettering, which adds a modern touch.

Inside, the cabin layout remains familiar but gets a few meaningful updates. There’s now a larger digital driver display and an updated touchscreen infotainment system. Skoda has also added features like dual-colour ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a rear-seat massage function. Practicality is improved as well, with boot space now rated at 491 litres.

In terms of safety, the Kushaq facelift continues to offer six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, and other essential features. It also retains its 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, which remains a strong point.

Under the hood, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine now comes with a new 8-speed automatic gearbox, replacing the older unit. The more powerful 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine continues with the 7-speed DSG, offering a more engaging driving experience.

Overall, the update keeps the Kushaq relevant with practical improvements rather than major changes, making it a sensible option in the midsize SUV space.
