New Hyundai Venue Launched in India: Prices Start at Rs 7.90 Lakh

Hyundai just rolled out the new Venue in India, starting at Rs. 7.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This compact SUV comes in eight different variants and eight colour choices, so there’s something for everyone. You still get three engine options too, so whether you want something efficient or a bit more punchy, you’re covered.

Now, about the look – the 2025 Venue definitely stands out more. Hyundai’s tweaked the front and rear, added a new grille, sharper bumpers, fresh LED headlamps and DRLs, and a connected LED tail light bar. They even spelled out “Venue” across the tailgate, which gives it a more upscale vibe. And those new 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels really pull the whole thing together.

Colour choices? Plenty. Pick from Hazel Blue, Mystic Sapphire, Atlas White, Titan Grey, Dragon Red, Abyss Black, or go for one of the two dual-tone combos: Hazel Blue with a black roof, or Atlas White with a black roof.

Inside, the Venue feels a lot more modern now. The big change is the pair of 12.3-inch curved screens – one for infotainment, one for the digital cluster. The centre console looks sleeker, and there’s a new three-spoke steering wheel to top it off.

Feature-wise, Hyundai packed a lot in here: Level 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, electric sunroof, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus OTA updates and BlueLink connectivity. You get drive and traction modes for a bit more control, and safety’s solid with six airbags and a bunch of driver-assist tech.

Under the hood, the Venue keeps its trusted engines. There’s a 1.2-litre petrol (82bhp, 114Nm, five-speed manual), a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (118bhp, 172Nm, with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed DCT), and a 1.5-litre diesel (114bhp, 250Nm, available with manual and automatic gearboxes).

As for competition, the Venue lines up against the Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Skoda Kushaq.

All in all, the new Venue sticks to Hyundai’s formula: pack in the features, keep things comfortable, and deliver solid value for money.
