Which Car Should I Buy After the Kwid for Mumbai’s Busy Traffic?

I currently drive a Renault Kwid and really appreciate its roomy cabin, easy drivability, and the convenience of getting in and out thanks to its tall design. However, I often face back pain and usually travel with a driver, using the rear seat quite a bit. Navigating through Mumbai’s constant stop-and-go traffic isn’t something I enjoy either. I test-drove the Tata Nexon but found the door design made entry and exit slightly uncomfortable. Could you suggest a suitable upgrade that offers better safety, more boot space, and modern features compared to my Kwid—without going overboard on the budget?

You could look at the Citroën Basalt as a worthy upgrade. It addresses most of your priorities with ease—comfortable ingress and egress, generous cabin space, and a roomy boot. In terms of size, it’s close to the Hyundai Creta but comes at a more affordable price point, similar to the Tata Nexon. It packs in all the essential convenience and safety features, though it skips a few premium touches like a sunroof or push-button start.
