Tata Launches Nexon Pure+ PS Trim at Rs 9.59 Lakh in India

Tata Nexon has received a new variant in India with the launch of the Pure+ PS trim. Priced at Rs 9.59 lakh (ex-showroom), the new trim sits between the Pure+ S and Creative variants in the Nexon lineup. The biggest highlight of this new version is the panoramic sunroof, which now becomes more affordable for buyers looking for a feature-rich compact SUV.

With this launch, the Tata Nexon has become the most affordable car in India to offer a panoramic sunroof. Earlier, this feature was available only from the higher Creative+ PS variant, which was priced significantly higher. Tata Motors has now reduced the entry price for this premium feature by around Rs 1.73 lakh.

The new Nexon Pure+ PS trim is available with multiple engine and gearbox options. Buyers can choose from a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 118hp, a 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 113hp, and a CNG option with 99hp. Tata is also offering both manual and automatic transmission choices depending on the variant.

The turbo-petrol manual version starts at Rs 9.59 lakh, while the AMT version is priced at Rs 10.14 lakh. The CNG manual variant costs Rs 10.39 lakh. Diesel buyers can opt for the manual version at Rs 10.54 lakh, while the diesel AMT goes up to Rs 11.59 lakh.

Apart from the panoramic sunroof, the new Tata Nexon Pure+ PS trim also gets several premium features. These include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker audio setup, automatic LED headlights, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, and powered ORVMs. Tata has also included a rear parking camera with sensors, improving convenience and safety for daily driving.

The SUV is also expected to carry over several features from the Pure+ S trim. These may include rear AC vents, steering-mounted controls, power windows, and a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 4-inch MID display.

The Tata Nexon continues to remain one of the most popular compact SUVs in India. With the addition of the Pure+ PS trim, Tata is clearly targeting buyers who want premium features like a panoramic sunroof at a lower price point. This new variant makes the Nexon even more competitive in the compact SUV segment.
