As January moves forward, we are getting closer to the biggest car event in India, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This event will feature many exciting new car reveals and launches. In this article, we will talk about the cars that are expected to steal the show at the expo, including MG’s fully electric convertible and Maruti’s first electric car in India.
Hyundai Creta Electric
Expected Price: Rs 17 lakh
The Hyundai Creta Electric, the electric version of the popular Creta, is sure to grab attention. The price for this all-electric SUV will be announced at the Auto Expo 2025 on January 17. The Creta Electric will come with features like dual 10.25-inch digital screens, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and level-2 ADAS. It will offer two battery options: a 42 kWh battery with a range of 390 km and a 51.4 kWh battery with a range of 473 km.
Maruti e Vitara
Expected Price: Rs 22 lakh
At the Auto Expo, Maruti will showcase the production version of the e Vitara, which was shown as a concept in 2023. The e Vitara will likely come with a lot of features. It will be available with two battery options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh, similar to the global version.
Kia Syros
Expected Price: Rs 9.70 lakh
The Kia Syros, which was first shown in December 2024, will be on display at the Auto Expo 2025. This SUV has a unique look and many exciting features, such as two 12.3-inch screens, ventilated seats, and a digital AC control panel. It will come with both petrol and diesel engine options, as well as manual and automatic transmissions. The Syros also has safety features like 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS.
Tata Harrier EV
Expected Price: Rs 25 lakh
Tata will reveal the final version of the Harrier EV, a fully electric version of its popular Harrier SUV. The Harrier EV will likely have a range of over 500 km and come with features like ADAS and a 360-degree camera. It will be powered by a dual-motor setup with all-wheel drive.
MG Cyberster
Expected Price: Rs 80 lakh
The MG Cyberster will be MG’s first fully electric convertible in India. With its eye-catching scissor doors and large alloy wheels, it’s sure to turn heads. The Cyberster will come with a 77 kWh battery that provides a range of over 444 km. It will also feature a triple-screen setup and an 8-speaker Bose sound system.
Tata Sierra
Expected Price: Rs 20 lakh
The Tata Sierra EV, a concept car first shown in 2020, will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2025. The production model will have a battery range of over 500 km. Tata may also show a version of the Sierra with a petrol engine, which has not yet been shown in any form.
Skoda Kodiaq
Expected Price: Rs 40 lakh
Skoda will reveal the new generation Kodiaq at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The Kodiaq will have a refreshed design and a new cabin packed with features. It will likely keep the current 2-litre turbo-petrol engine for the Indian market.
Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e
BE 6 Price: Rs 18.90 lakh
XEV 9e Price: Rs 21.90 lakh
Mahindra will showcase two of its latest electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, at the expo. Both cars have advanced features like a heads-up display and large battery options. The BE 6 will offer a range of 682 km in its top variant, while the XEV 9e will have a range of 656 km.
