Throwback of All The SUVs Launched In India In 2024

SUVs are still the most popular type of car in India, and 2024 has been another successful year for them. This year saw a lot of new SUV models, including updates, electric vehicles (EVs), and off-road vehicles. Most of the new releases came from Indian carmakers, but Mercedes-Benz also had a busy year with several new models, many of them updated versions of existing ones.

Here are the main SUVs launched in India in 2024:

2024 Kia Sonet

  • Price: Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 15.76 lakh
  • Kia launched an updated Sonet with a new design, improved safety features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, and a 360-degree camera. It also offers three engine options, including a 120 PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine.

2024 Hyundai Creta & Creta N Line

  • Price: Rs 11 lakh to Rs 20.29 lakh (Creta), Rs 16.82 lakh to Rs 20.44 lakh (Creta N Line)
  • Hyundai made updates to both the exterior and interior of the Creta. The 2024 Creta now has a more powerful 160 PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and new features like dual 10.25-inch screens, dual-zone AC, and ADAS. The Creta N Line, a sportier version, has styling tweaks and performance upgrades.

Mahindra Thar Roxx (5-door version)

  • Price: Rs 13 lakh to Rs 22.49 lakh
  • Mahindra expanded the Thar lineup with a new 5-door version, which has a more modern interior and features like ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless charging. It offers powerful engine options, including a 177 PS turbo-petrol.

Skoda Kylaq

  • Price: Rs 7.89 lakh to Rs 14.40 lakh
  • Skoda launched the Kylaq, a compact SUV, with a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 10-inch infotainment system. It also offers features like powered front seats and wireless charging.

Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 (Electric SUVs)

  • Price: Rs 21.90 lakh (XEV 9e), Rs 18.90 lakh (BE 6)
  • Mahindra introduced two new electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and BE 6, with up to 682 km of claimed range. Both have premium features like wireless charging, powered front seats, and ADAS.

Mahindra XUV 3XO (Facelifted XUV300)

  • Price: Rs 7.79 lakh to Rs 15.48 lakh
  • The facelifted XUV300, now called XUV 3XO, has a new look and features like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS.

Tata Nexon CNG

  • Price: Rs 9 lakh to Rs 14.60 lakh
  • Tata Motors launched the Nexon CNG with a factory-fitted CNG kit paired with a turbo-petrol engine. It also offers features like a panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats.

Tata Curvv EV & Curvv (ICE model)

  • Price: Rs 17.50 lakh to Rs 22 lakh (Curvv EV), Rs 10 lakh to Rs 19 lakh (Curvv)
  • Tata launched the sporty Curvv EV, which offers a range of up to 585 km. The ICE-powered Curvv has three engine options and features like a panoramic sunroof and ADAS.

Citroen Basalt

  • Price: Rs 8 lakh to Rs 13.95 lakh
  • Citroen introduced the Basalt, a sporty SUV with a 10.2-inch infotainment system, adjustable seats, and two petrol engine options.

Tata Punch EV

  • Price: Rs 10 lakh to Rs 14.29 lakh
  • Tata launched the Punch EV with electric power, two battery pack options, and features like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, six airbags, and a 360-degree camera.

2024 Nissan Magnite (Facelift)

  • Price: Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 11.50 lakh
  • The Nissan Magnite got a facelift with a new exterior and updated features like a larger touchscreen and 360-degree camera.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor

  • Price: Rs 7.74 lakh to Rs 13.04 lakh
  • Toyota launched the rebadged version of the Maruti Fronx, the Urban Cruiser Taisor, with design changes and two engine options, including a CNG version.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar

  • Price: Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 21.54 lakh

2024 Land Rover Discovery
