KTM has revealed the new 390 Adventure at the India Bike Week 2024 in Goa. This new model will be launched in India by mid-January 2025. The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure S comes with several changes, including a fresh design, new mechanical parts, and more advanced features. Along with the 390 Adventure, KTM also showcased the 390 Enduro R at the event.
The new 390 Adventure S features a new look with a vertically-stacked dual-projector LED headlamp, sectioned DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), and a beak-style front mudguard. It also has a taller windscreen, chunkier handguards, and wider body panels. The rear section of the bike is edgier, and it has a smaller tail lamp compared to the old model.
The 390 Enduro R has a raised front fender, narrower body panels, and a flat single-piece seat. Both bikes are built on a completely new frame and subframe. The 390 Adventure S has a fully adjustable WP Apex upside-down fork in the front and a monoshock in the rear. Both models have disc brakes at the front and rear.
The New KTM 390 Adventure S that was shown at the India Bike Week has spoked wheels (21 inches in the front and 17 inches at the rear) with tubed tyres. However, when launched, it will come with tubeless tyres on the same size wheels.
The powertrain remains the same as the 390 Duke, with a 399 cc, single-cylinder engine. The engine produces 46 horsepower and 39 Nm of torque, and it is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The 390 Adventure S comes with a 5-inch TFT display, which is the same as the 390 Duke, along with Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity. It also features cruise control, which will be available on this model. Along with the Adventure S, KTM is also likely to launch the 390 Adventure X, which will come with cast alloy wheels.
