March 2025 Car Sales: A Mixed Bag of Growth and Decline

The car sales performance in March 2025 presents an interesting mix, with some brands showcasing significant growth while others faced a decline. Mahindra achieved an impressive 18% YoY growth, while Skoda and MG Motor India reported their highest-ever sales for the month. TATA Car Sales in March 2025

  • TATA Motors saw a 3.01% YoY growth in total sales, with 51,616 units sold in March 2025, compared to 50,110 units last year. However, sales of electric vehicles (EVs) decreased by 20.56% to 5,353 units compared to 6,738 units in March 2024.

Hyundai Car Sales in March 2025

  • Kia saw a 19.28% increase in March 2025, selling 25,525 units, up from 21,400 units in March 2024. The brand also recorded a slight 1.99% growth compared to February 2025, where they sold 25,026 units.
