Mahindra Auto has announced the price for the top “Pack Three” version of its larger electric SUV, the XEV 9e. This variant is priced at ₹30.50 lakh (ex-showroom), which is ₹7.6 lakh more than the base “Pack One” variant. This price doesn’t include the charger or installation costs. Bookings for the BE 6 Pack Three will start on February 14, 2025, and for the other two variants in March. Deliveries will begin in early March 2025.
Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three Design The XEV 9e comes with Bi-LED headlights and LED tail lamps. The Pack Three variant features 20-inch wheels and a front illuminated Mahindra logo. The design is unique, with a connected front light and a sloping roof at the back. The SUV has a ground clearance of 207mm and is 4789mm long. Inside, it has a spacious cabin, with 1617 liters of front cabin space and a 150-litre frunk for extra storage.
Interior and Features The XEV has a huge 43.3-inch digital display, split into three screens for the passenger, infotainment system, and the driver. It comes with apps for entertainment, news, social media, and shopping. Higher versions have a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. The car has an infinity glass roof with ambient lighting, and advanced safety features including automatic parking. The top variants come with 7 airbags and ADAS Level 2+ safety technology.
Battery, Performance, and Range The Pack Three version of the XEV 9e uses a 79kWh battery that gives a range of 656km (according to ARAI). In real-world conditions, Mahindra says it can go over 500km with the AC on. The battery can be charged from 20 to 80% in just 20 minutes using a fast charger. The XEV is powered by a rear motor producing 282bhp and 380Nm of torque, reaching 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds. It has three driving modes: Everyday, Range, and Race, plus a Boost mode for extra power.
Price, Booking, and Test Drive The XEV 9e Pack Three is priced at ₹30.50 lakh (excluding the charger). Mahindra offers a “Three for Me” finance plan to help buyers pay the same monthly installment as the Pack One variant. Bookings for the XEV 9e start on February 14, 2025, and deliveries will begin in early March 2025. Test drives will start on January 14, 2025, in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore, with more cities to follow.
