Kia Syros SUV Earns 5-Star Safety Rating from Bharat NCAP
Kia’s Syros SUV has rapidly become a popular choice among Indian drivers, recognized for its safety features and premium offerings. This tall, spacious vehicle, reminiscent of the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, has been recently put to the test by the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (Bharat NCAP). The results are impressive, with the Syros receiving a five-star safety rating, solidifying its place as one of the safest options in the Indian market.

The Kia Syros excelled in Bharat NCAP’s crash tests, earning 30.21 out of 32 points for adult occupant protection and 44.42 out of 49 points for child safety. These stellar scores demonstrate the SUV’s commitment to safeguarding both adults and children, making it an excellent family vehicle. Kia has equipped the Syros with a comprehensive set of safety features, which contributed to its top-tier safety score.

The Kia Syros is packed with 16 autonomous safety features thanks to its Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These include:
- Forward collision avoidance warning
- Lane departure warning
- Cruise control with braking and lane departure functions
Additionally, the SUV is equipped with:

- Rear and side parking sensors

- 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine: Delivers 114 BHP and 250 Nm of torque.
