2025 Kawasaki Eliminator 500: A Stylish and Powerful Cruiser

Kawasaki has launched the 2025 Eliminator 500, a modern cruiser with a classic design that combines retro aesthetics and cutting-edge technology. With a price tag of ₹5.62 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Eliminator 500 is set to challenge its competitors, including the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, in the middleweight cruiser segment.

Engine and Performance

At the heart of the Eliminator 500 is a 451cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which shares its lineage with the Ninja 400. The engine produces 44 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 46 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, offering a great balance of power and smooth performance, making it perfect for cruising and long-distance rides. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features an assist and slipper clutch for smooth gear shifts.

Design and Features

The design of the Eliminator 500 is a blend of modern cruiser style and classic elements. The bike boasts a low-slung stance with a round LED headlamp and an exposed frame that gives it a vintage vibe. It also features sleek all-black components for a bold, modern look. The circular LCD instrument cluster provides crucial data like speed, RPM, fuel level, and gear position, and comes with Bluetooth connectivity via the Kawasaki Rideology app, enabling riders to receive notifications and calls while riding.

Comfort and Ergonomics

The Eliminator 500 is designed to be accessible and comfortable for a wide range of riders, with a seat height of just 734 mm. The bike also features Kawasaki’s Ergo-Fit system, allowing riders to adjust the footpegs and handlebars for an optimized riding position. Weighing just 176 kg, it is light enough for easy maneuverability, ensuring an enjoyable and stress-free ride, whether on city streets or open highways.

Ride and Handling

In terms of suspension, the Eliminator 500 is equipped with 41mm telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. These provide excellent comfort and stability, especially on rough roads. For safety, the bike comes with dual-channel ABS and reliable braking performance from the 310 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc. It rides on 18-inch front and 16-inch rear alloy wheels, fitted with 130/70 and 150/80 tires, ensuring excellent grip and stability.

Pricing and Availability

The 2025 Kawasaki Eliminator 500 is priced at ₹5.62 lakh (ex-showroom) and is now available for booking across Kawasaki dealerships in India. Deliveries are expected to start in mid-January 2024.

Conclusion

The 2025 Kawasaki Eliminator 500 is a well-rounded cruiser that offers a perfect mix of style, performance, and comfort.
