Tata Curvv Dark Edition Previewed Ahead of Launch

Tata Curvv Dark Edition Arrives at Dealerships Ahead of Official Launch

Tata Motors is gearing up to officially launch the Dark Edition of its upcoming Curvv Coupe SUV in India. While the launch is just a few weeks away, the model has already begun reaching dealerships across the country. One of the first detailed video walkarounds of the Curvv Dark Edition has surfaced online, offering a closer look at both the exterior and interior of this stylish SUV.

Exterior Overview

Front

The standout feature here is the SUV’s all-black paint scheme, which defines the Dark Edition. The signature L-shaped design elements on the grille remain, now finished in dark chrome for a more aggressive look. The front also retains the sleek connected LED DRLs and a centrally placed Tata logo, also in dark chrome. The headlamps are unchanged from the standard version.

Side Profile

Moving to the side, the all-black aesthetic continues. The SUV features black window surrounds and a “Dark” badge on the front fenders. The 18-inch petal-shaped alloy wheels are carried over from the standard Curvv but are finished in a stylish dual-tone. The model also comes equipped with disc brakes on all four wheels.

Rear

At the back, the coupe-like roofline is evident, along with a high-mounted tailgate. The connected LED taillights are retained, and like the front, the Tata and Curvv badges are finished in dark chrome. Gloss black cladding enhances the premium appeal of the SUV’s rear profile.

Interior Highlights

Inside, the Curvv Dark Edition maintains its stealthy theme with a fully blacked-out cabin. The leatherette seats, door panels, and gloss black door handles complement the SUV’s bold persona. The driver’s seat features a 6-way power adjustment along with ventilation, while the co-passenger seat includes ventilation but lacks electric adjustability.

The dashboard gets a similar treatment, finished primarily in black with a brushed silver accent strip to break the monotony. The flat-bottom, four-spoke multifunction steering wheel adds a sporty touch.

In terms of features, the SUV comes loaded with:

  • A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • A 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster
  • A 9-speaker JBL sound system
  • Wireless charging
  • Automatic climate control
  • Air purifier
  • Electrochromic IRVM
  • Illuminated and cooled glovebox

Powertrain Options

The showcased variant is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 118 PS and 260 Nm of torque. Other options include:

  • A 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine producing 120 PS and 170 Nm
  • A 1.5-litre Hyperion engine generating 125 PS and 225 Nm

With its aggressive styling, premium features, and multiple powertrain options, the Tata Curvv Dark Edition is set to make a strong impression when it officially launches in the Indian market.
