Tata Motors closed December 2024 with a slight year-on-year (YoY) sales growth of 1.73%, selling a total of 44,221 units, compared to 43,471 units in December 2023. The Tata Punch (ICE + EV) remained the brand’s top performer, registering 15,073 units sold in December 2024, marking a 9.33% YoY increase over the 13,787 units sold in December 2023. Punch finished the year as India’s No. 1 selling car, solidifying its popularity.

The Tata Nexon (ICE + EV), however, saw a decline in sales, managing to sell 13,536 units in December 2024, a drop of 11.44% compared to the 15,284 units sold in December 2023.

The Tata Tiago (ICE + EV) posted a marginal improvement, selling 5,006 units, showing a 3.17% increase from 4,852 units sold the previous year.

The Tata Curvv (ICE + EV), which launched recently, sold 4,994 units in its first December on the market, signaling a strong debut for the SUV.

On the flip side, the Tata Altroz witnessed a significant decline, with only 1,866 units sold, down 54.28% from 4,081 units in December 2023.
