Honda Elevate Black Edition Begins Arriving at Dealerships

Honda Cars India is getting ready to officially launch the Honda Elevate Black Edition. This special version of the SUV was spotted during tests earlier, and now it has started arriving at dealerships.

The Black Edition brings many changes to the regular Elevate. The most important change is the new Black color, which has never been offered on the Elevate before. This new color gives the SUV a bold look and enhances its design. The car also has special “Black Edition” badges on it.

To make it look even better, Honda has added silver accents to the doors, which stand out against the black body. Similar silver details are also on the front and rear bumpers, as well as on the roof rails. The alloy wheels are also black, and there is a shiny chrome strip on the front grille. These changes give the Elevate a unique and stylish look.

Inside, the Elevate Black Edition has an all-black theme. The silver details on the dashboard and steering wheel in the regular model have been replaced with glossy black finishes. The seats are also black. The layout and features inside are the same as the regular version.

The Elevate Black Edition comes with many features, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch display for the instrument cluster, wireless charging, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, eight speakers, leatherette seats, an electric sunroof, and paddle shifters. For safety, it includes advanced features like a lane watch camera, electronic stability control (ESC), ADAS, hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, brake assist, and six airbags.

The Black Edition will likely have the same 1.5-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine as the regular Elevate. This engine produces around 121PS of power and 145Nm of torque. It will be available with either a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. The final specifications are still to be confirmed.

The Elevate’s petrol engine is known for being smooth and powerful. It’s the same engine used in the Honda City. The suspension also provides a very comfortable ride, and the SUV handles well on corners. These features are expected to remain the same in the Black Edition.

The Elevate Black Edition is mostly a cosmetic upgrade, designed for those who want a car in a dark, bold color. Once launched, it will compete with cars like the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition, MG Astor BlackStorm, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Black Series. The Black Edition will likely cost a bit more than the regular Elevate, which is priced between 11.69 lakh and 16.71 lakh.
