Big Car Launches Coming in January 2025
Car lovers have a lot to look forward to in 2025! Many new cars and SUVs will be launched at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. January will start the year with some exciting new models. Here are 10 cars you can expect to see in January:
1. KIA Syros
KIA will launch the Syros, a sub-compact SUV, in January. This car will fit between the Sonet and Seltos in KIA’s lineup. It has a unique design, lots of features, and comes with two engine options: a 1.0L turbo petrol engine and a 1.5L diesel engine.
2. Hyundai Creta EV
Hyundai will also launch the Creta EV. This will be Hyundai’s first affordable electric car in India. It will likely have a 48 kWh battery, offering around 300 km of range. The Creta EV is expected to have 134 horsepower and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 to 8.5 seconds.
3. Maruti eVitara
Maruti Suzuki’s first all-electric car, the eVitara, will debut at the Expo in January 2025. The car will come in two battery options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh, and will offer both single-motor and dual-motor versions. The smaller battery version will have 144 horsepower, while the bigger one will have 174 horsepower.
4. Mahindra BE 6
Mahindra will introduce the BE 6, an electric SUV built on the new INGLO platform. It will come with two battery options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The car will produce 280 horsepower and can go for around 400 km on a full charge. The starting price will be around Rs 18.79 lakh.
5. Mahindra XEV 9e
The XEV 9e is an electric version of Mahindra’s XUV 700. It will have a coupe-style design and similar battery options as the BE 6. The starting price for the XEV 9e will be Rs 21.90 lakh. Inside, it will feature a triple-screen display and many other tech features.
6. Tata Harrier EV
Tata will launch the Harrier EV on January 17, 2025. It will look similar to the regular Harrier, but with a few changes like a closed front grille. The EV will have a range of over 500 km on a full charge and will feature a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
7. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV
Mahindra is preparing an electric version of the XUV 3XO. This smaller, sub-4m electric SUV will sit below the XUV 400 in Mahindra’s lineup. The exact details of its powertrain are not yet clear, but it is expected to be a budget-friendly option.
8. Tata Safari EV
Tata will also launch the Safari EV. It will be similar to the Harrier EV but will be larger in size. It will offer features like a 10.25-inch driver display, ventilated seats, a JBL sound system, and a panoramic sunroof. It will also have Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) features.
9. MG Cyberster
MG will launch the Cyberster, an electric sports car. This car will have a 77 kWh battery and will offer a range of about 580 km. It will produce 510 horsepower and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. MG will sell it through its new MG Select premium outlets.
10. All New Skoda Kodiaq
Skoda will launch an updated version of the Kodiaq SUV. The new model will have a fresh design and more features. It will still come with the 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which makes 190 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. Some versions will come with a 4X4 drive.
