Kawasaki has launched the 2025 Ninja 1100SX sports tourer in India, priced at Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This bike is designed for comfort on long trips and comes with several upgrades compared to the previous model. It’s quite popular in India because of its strong performance.
The 2025 Ninja 1100SX is now in its fifth generation. It features a larger 1099 cc inline four-cylinder engine, replacing the old 1043 cc engine. While the engine size has increased, the power has been slightly reduced from 142 bhp to 135 bhp at 9,000 rpm. However, the torque has increased by 2 Nm, now reaching 113 Nm at 7,600 rpm.
The bike now has a larger sprocket for better acceleration and changes to the gear ratios to improve fuel efficiency. It also comes with a bi-directional quickshifter, making gear changes smoother. New features include USB Type-C outlets on the handlebars, a 4.3-inch TFT display for smartphone connectivity, and voice commands. The bike also offers ABS, cruise control, traction control, power modes, and more.
The bike’s chassis remains mostly the same, but there are some updates. It now has Brembo Monobloc 4.32 calipers at the front, and it’s equipped with 41 mm USD Showa front forks and an Ohlins S36 adjustable monoshock at the rear. The bike runs on 17-inch wheels with Bridgestone tires.
