2025 TVS Apache ADV Seen for the First Time – Features New 300cc Engine, Alloy Wheels, and USD Forks

TVS Motor is preparing to enter the adventure motorcycle market with the new Apache RTX 300. The first spy shots show that the new TVS Apache ADV has a promising design and features that make it a strong competitor to bikes like the KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan. The bike is expected to be powered by TVS’s new 300cc RT-XD4 engine, which is a big technological improvement for the company.

The latest spy photos highlight several features of the Apache RTX 310. The bike has a semi-fairing design and a tall instrument cluster, which likely includes a full-color TFT display. This screen could show navigation, music controls, and ride analytics. It looks similar to the one found on the Raider 125, not the vertical one seen on other TVS and BMW bikes built on the 310 platform.

The 2025 TVS Apache ADV comes with alloy wheels, probably 19 inches at the front and 17 inches at the back, designed for both on-road and off-road use. Other features include a tough luggage rack, a twin exhaust system, and a comfortable seat. The bike also has handlebar-mounted mirrors and additional lights, which might be standard since TVS usually adds many features. The suspension system includes USD telescopic front forks, which come in two colors—gold and black—possibly indicating different variants with various features. A tall windscreen, side guards, and comfortable seating make it great for long-distance rides.

At the heart of the Apache RTX 310 is the new 300cc RT-XD4 engine from TVS. This engine, introduced at MotoSoul 2024, shows the company’s advanced engineering. It produces 35.45 PS of power and 28.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. The engine has features like dual overhead camshafts, a dual cooling jacket cylinder head, and a split chamber crankcase with a dual oil pump, all designed for smooth power delivery and better fuel efficiency. This new engine also helps with cooling, reduces oil use, and meets future emission standards. Compared to the older 312.12cc engine, the RT-XD4 engine offers similar power but with better refinement, cooling, and lighter weight, improving the bike’s overall performance and handling. These upgrades make the Apache RTX 310 great for long-distance adventure tours.
